In his continued efforts to unite the European Volleyball family and to foster and establish an open dialogue with all stakeholders, CEV President Roko Sikirić travelled earlier this week to Rome to meet with the leadership of the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV).

The CEV President continues in his mission to engage with all members of the European Volleyball family

The CEV President used this as an opportunity to acknowledge the key role played by the Italian Volleyball family on the European and global stage, even more so following the historic gold medal claimed by their women’s national team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games earlier this summer.

As he announced following his election, the CEV President is engaging in a frank and open dialogue with all members of the European Volleyball family and will continue to do so in the coming weeks and months following positive and productive exchanges with colleagues from other countries such as Poland and Türkiye. At the helm of a young and dynamic group of leaders, Mr Sikirić wishes to usher in a new era for European Volleyball, capitalising on its latest successes while pursuing its innovation and transformation to keep up with the standards of a rapidly evolving sports industry.
