CEV President engages in productive discussions in high-profile meetings with Spanish authorities

After attending the Ordinary General Assembly of the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation (RFEVB) and visiting the state-of-the art permanent Beach Volleyball facilities at Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro, CEV President Roko Sikirić had a high-profile meeting with the General Director of Sports at the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD), Mr Fernando Molinero. Subsequently, he moved to the Madrid City Hall for a separate meeting with the Madrid Sports Councillor, Ms Sonia Cea.

The CEV President was accompanied by CEV Vice President in charge of Administrative Affairs, Leonel Salgueiro, as well as by the President and Vice President of the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation, Felipe Pascual and Javier García Romero.

The purpose of such high-level encounters was to share and discuss the strong cooperation established between the CEV and RFEVB, with the respective leaders elaborating on their vision for the future of European and Spanish Volleyball, while exploring ways to pursue projects of common interest, including initiatives that would help restore and cement Spain’s role on the international stage.
