CEV and LUNEX join forces to empower the future of Volleyball
News
CEV Development is delighted to announce the fifth edition of the CEV Volleyball Management Programme, powered by LUNEX, thereby continuing an initiative first launched in 2023 to invest in the people who are shaping the future of Volleyball.
Building on the experience of the previous editions, the programme will once again bring together staff members of CEV-affiliated National Federations and eligible athletes, providing them with a unique opportunity to develop new skills, expand their knowledge, and gain practical tools that can be put into action in their daily work.
By strengthening leadership, professional expertise, and organisation capacity, the initiative aims to support the continued growth and long-term development of National Federations and the wider volleyball community.
A new opportunity to learn, grow and lead
The programme will offer participants a comprehensive learning experience across five key areas:
• Strategic Management & Digital Transformation
• Governance & People Management
• Marketing & Sponsorship
• Finance & Economics
• Media Relations & Events Management
This year, the programme introduces People Management as a new area of focus, recognising that strong organisations are built not only through effective strategies, but also through the people who bring them to life. The new content will provide participants with practical insights into leading, developing, and supporting people and teams within their organisations.
Delivered online through the LUNEX e-learning platform, the programme will combine live sessions with flexible, on-demand learning materials. This format will allow participants to develop their skills while continuing with their professional and personal commitments.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a LUNEX certificate equivalent to 20 ECTS, recognising the knowledge and skills gained throughout the programme.
Opening the door to new opportunities
There will be three pathways to join the programme. Firstly, through the National Federation Support pathway under the CEV Solidarity Fund Type II, each CEV-affiliated National Federation may recommend up to two candidates, who may be either staff members or eligible athletes. Where two candidates are recommended, one must be female and one male.
Secondly, a dedicated Athlete Support pathway under the CEV Solidarity Fund Type II will allow eligible CEV athletes to apply individually for CEV-funded participation, without requiring endorsement or financial support from their National Federation.
Finally, the programme will also be available through Open Registration, open to applicants from any country who wish to participate independently by covering the € 2,500 programme fee themselves.

The programme will run from mid-January to March 2027, bringing together participants from across the Volleyball family in a shared learning experience focused on knowledge, collaboration, and professional growth.
This partnership marks another important step in CEV’s commitment to developing the people and organisations at the heart of Volleyball.
Together with LUNEX, CEV is investing in talent, strengthening expertise, and creating new opportunities to help our Volleyball community thrive.
