Overview

A lot of support coming for both sides during this game in Atlas Arena as the neighbouring Ukraine brings many fans to Polish venues nowadays. Svitlana Dorsman had a good season in Poland, Iryna Trushkina is about to join Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE, but, all in all, it is the hosts with more experience and home court advantage.

Day 4 Recap

Play

"Today we expected a fight, because if you "give the hand" to the girls from Ukraine, they can play. As you could see they get excited more and more when they got points. It was a hard game. After first set we controlled the game, but we had to sweat to get these points."

Joanna Wołosz,
Polish setter

"Ukraine played at the level like they should present. We didn't implement the coache's assumptions during the match. We should serve hard, but it didn't work out. We were focuse too much on defense. This match was very hard for us. I'm glad we won 3-1"
