Two more Danish schools joined the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ in March as Volleyball Denmark continue to expand the programme across the Nordic country.

At Spjald skole, balls and ribbons provided by Volleyball Denmark are used extensively after delivering a course specifically addressed to the local 8th graders. The teachers who have worked on the course have passed on the best recommendations to all their colleagues. In addition to that, the course has made many of the children genuinely enjoy Volleyball – so the perspectives look good for a further growth of the game.

“Third graders have tried their hand at KidsVolley. They were very interested in it and looked extremely happy with the equipment provided,” says Elisabeth Gormsen from Rødding skole. “It is amazing what it does for the experience, when playing with such good balls. There are certainly many students who now want to try their hand at the local club. Many thanks to Volleyball Denmark for the good inspiration and thank you to CEV for the equipment!”
