The Belarus Volleyball Federation (BVF) continues to work hard to inspire the next generation of Volleyball players with the help of the CEV School Project. This past Saturday, January 22, they organised a Volleyball masterclass at the school no. 17 in Minsk as this year they focus on involving secondary schools from the Minsk and Vitebsk regions, as well as the city of Minsk.

The National Federation did not choose the school by chance, since Volleyball activities there start from a very young age. There is indeed a Volleyball section, which operates under the strict guidance of the coach of the Youth Sports School of the Volleyball Club Minsk, Mr Artur Selyavko. His players helped deliver a masterclass for the local pupils. Moreover, Irina Zakharchuk, a teacher of physical culture and health, organised exciting relay races for the children.

Ms Anastasia Karnach, who is in charge of development activities at the Belarus Volleyball Federation, presented balls and nets provided by the CEV. Moreover, all participants of this action received medals from the CEV as well as other mementos and souvenirs prepared by the Belarus Volleyball Federation.

The geography of the project continues to expand. The project helps the BVF promote Volleyball across the country, with Belarus currently preparing to host European qualifiers in the U20, U21 and U22 age groups later this spring.
