The Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) continues to work extensively to grow the game at the grassroots level, primarily through the delivery of School Festivals involving young pupils. The latest such event took place at the premises of the secondary school in Argavand community, Armavir Province.

The school somehow has a special connection with Volleyball, since Anahit Yeprikyan, a Master of Sport and former player of the Nzhdeh women’s team, teaches at the same school.

During the festival, representatives of the VFA shared their knowledge with the kids to teach them some of the basic skills of the Volleyball game, with the children looking extremely enthusiastic with the opportunity.

As with other schools involved in the project, the secondary school in Argavand received much-needed equipment to make sure they can continue to deliver Volleyball activities and inspire their students to play the game.
