Latest festival run by VFA held in Maralik

Earlier this week, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) organised a volleyball festival run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, this time paying a visit to the youth sports school of Maralik, Shirak Province.

The sports school already has a women’s volleyball team and soon they will try to compete in the Armenian national and regional championships. The VFA delegation used the festival as an opportunity to work with the kids and to improve their basic technique. The best athletes were awarded with medals specifically designed for this far-reaching development programme. Volleyballs were provided to the sports school by the VFA to aid with the delivery of further such activities in the weeks and months to come.
