The Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered this past November 25, 2022, the second edition of a large-scale volleyball festival run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball - Grow with it’. The event featured almost 800 participants divided into six categories depending on their age (players were 6-14 years old) and did take place across three sports halls and 13 courts, with 164 teams taking part in the action that lasted for some nine hours.

The key concept of this project is bringing children together through Volleyball, thereby spreading good vibes and positive energy. As many as 11 clubs decided to join the largest such volleyball tournament held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely: OK Sa Volley Sarajevo, OK Block Out Sarajevo, OK Turbina Jablanica, OK Maglaj Maglaj, OK Čelik-R Zenica, OK Krivaja Zavidovići, OK Krušnica Bosanska Krupa, ZOK Bužim Bužim, ZOK Smeč Lukavac, ZOK Žepče Žepče, and hosts OK Naša Škola Sporta Kakanj.

The highest number of teams – 53 – contested the category open to young players born in 2008 and 2009. All teams consisted of maximum four players, with three standing on the court at the same time, except for the 2006/2007 group – where matches were played according to the standard 6 vs 6 format.

All the participants received a medal for their efforts, motivation, and skills, with the most skilled ones travelling home with extra souvenirs provided by the sponsors and partners of the event.

The Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina deserved words of appraisal to the club Naša Škola Sporta Kakanj for the outstanding delivery of this event.
