Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, April 16, 2019. The CEV and the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia (OZS) are getting ready to deliver a historic CEV Coaches Convention that will be taking place in June in Kranjska Gora, otherwise known as a ski resort and venue of the training camps organised for Slovenia’s senior national Volleyball teams.

The representatives of the CEV, i.e. the Secretary of the European Coaches Commission, Thomas Bro-Rasmussen and E-learning & Project Coordinator, Ricardo Leite visited Kranjska Gora a few days ago together with the representatives of the hosting Volleyball Federation of Slovenia, Secretary General Gregor Humerca, and Communications Director Ana Oblak, to make sure everything will be set for this history-making event.

Coaches and physical education teachers from across the whole of Europe have shown a big interest for the Convention, with the CEV expecting some 100 attendees from about 30 countries.

The two-day event will be all about discussing and sharing ideas on how to best develop and grow Volleyball in Europe while working with the younger generations. The programme will feature a theoretical and practical part, with renowned coaches who have spent most of their careers working with young Volleyball talents helping with the delivery of the event.
