When it comes to activities run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, the month of November began in Iceland with a great event organised on the Reykjanes peninsula, in the town of Keflavík. This event was attended by boys and girls from three different schools in the area, thereby accounting for a total of 164 participants from grades 4 to 6 who enjoyed playing Volleyball.

The schools Sandgerðisskóli from Suðurnesjabær, Myllubakkaskóli from Keflavík and Stapaskóli from Njarðvík repeated the experience of last year playing ‘skólablak’.

The other two activities originally scheduled for November 2022 had to be postponed until the beginning of December, so most of the work done by the Icelandic Volleyball Association has been organisational. As usual at this time of year, events in large indoor soccer halls are limited, due to the cold weather. For this reason, the next planned activities will be taking place in smaller gyms.
