News
As the Slovak Volleyball Federation continues to work extensively to grow the game at the grassroots level with the help of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’, the organisation recently delivered the final stage of the Slovak School Championships open to primary school pupils. The event took place at the X-Bionic Sphere Complex in the city of Samorín.
This was the real climax of the MIDICOOLVOLLEY school competition, which involved as many as 111 and 70 primary schools for girls and boys, respectively – thus accounting for 1,500 kids overall.
The all-Slovak final in Samorín featured eight and 12 teams for boys and girls, respectively. The representatives of two primary schools from the city of Svidnik emerged victorious, as they did not drop a single match throughout the competition.
