Volleyball festival run in Armenia to involve more kids from Kotayk Province

The Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) delivered on September 1 yet another School Volleyball Festival – with the event held this time at the primary school no. 1 named after Artur Hakobyan of the Garni community, Kotayk Province.

Representatives of the VFA were present at the festival, thus supporting the kids in their efforts to familiarise with the key rules of the game, perform a series of drills and improve their skills.

Mr Aharon Sahakyan, Governor of Kotayk Province, attended the festival as well, expressing his satisfaction with the activities and events run by the VFA across the area. After trying to play the game together with the school pupils, he received a special commemorative medal from the VFA in recognition of his support for Volleyball and its growth in the region.

At the end of the event, the VFA provided the school with much-needed sports equipment to make sure that Volleyball classes can continue to take place.
