Volleyball class held at Zagreb elementary school

Among an ever-growing number of countries using the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ to inspire the next generation of Volleyball players, the Croatian Volleyball Federation recently delivered a masterclass at the elementary school ‘Tomislav Kralj’ in the country’s capital, Zagreb.

There is a strong Volleyball tradition in this school, which makes it an ideal place where to run such an action. The Volleyball masterclass organised on June 10 involved some 30 children – with the programme featuring Volleyball exercises and other fun games as well. What makes this school a valuable partner is that the local teachers work – and so manage to involve – young boys (some 20) as well as girls.

The Croatian Volleyball Federation has planned further activities in order to spread the fun and positive vibes that go with discovering the Volleyball game and nurturing such young talents.
