Activities organised in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ have re-started in the Republic of Belarus. Last year, more than 20 Belarusian schools received volleyballs and nets.

The main goal is to popularise the sport among secondary schools students, who have the opportunity to learn more about the game and become familiar with the relevant technical and tactical skills.

The project has achieved much success in many European countries and it has already helped attract a large number of young talents to the Volleyball game.

The Belarus Volleyball Federation has now devised plans to spread the project even further across the country. With this in mind, on November 29, the secondary school No. 3 of the city of Orsha joined the project. The activities organised there included funny moments with Volik, the official mascot of Belarusian Volleyball, and various Volleyball relay races – which made sure the kids enjoyed a truly cheerful atmosphere during their physical education class.

All participants of the Volleyball festival received souvenirs from the Belarusian Volleyball Federation and medals from the CEV.
