Latest VFA School Volleyball festival organised in Garni

The officials in charge of delivering the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ at the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) recently visited the primary school no. 1 named after Artur Hakobyan in the city of Garni, Kotayk Province, where a meeting and festival was held with participation of children originally from Artsakh.

Some 50 students from Artsakh are currently attending the school in Garni. The event was attended by 11 pupils from the first grade, who got acquainted with the development programme, and tried to play Volleyball to the best of their abilities. At the end of the festival, the VFA provided the children with balls, uniforms and officials medals of the programme promoted by the CEV. The representatives of the VFA informed the children from Artsakh that there are other volleyball groups in the school, and that they are more than welcome to join the local Garni community volleyball team if they wish to do so.
