Luxembourg, November 29, 2020. The CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ continues to inspire the next generation of Volleyball players, with activities run earlier this month in countries as diverse as Armenia, Belarus, Denmark, Estonia and North Macedonia.

In North Macedonia, the Volleyball club Pelister Volley organised a series of training and other activities specifically designed for kids, while Gio Strumica hosted a practice for players participating in the youth national championship, thus spreading much enthusiasm for the game among more and more children living in the Balkan country.

Moving to the north of Europe, the Estonian Volleyball Federation delivered two school visits in the cities of Narva and Kohtla-Järve. A Volleyball fever will slowly be mounting in the Baltic country, which is due to co-host the 2021 edition of EuroVolley Men together with Poland, the Czech Republic and their neighbours from Finland.

School visits organised by two clubs took place in Denmark as well, while the Belarus Volleyball Federation delivered a Volleyball masterclass at a secondary school in the city of Gomel earlier this week to follow up on similar actions previously held in Minsk.

Volleyball has helped Armenian kids return to some sort of normal life

The School Festival organised by the Volleyball Federation of Armenia this past November 22 in the city of Geghashen was a truly special one – as Volleyball activities have finally resumed in the Caucasus country following the break imposed by the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. The Volleyball action coincided with the return to some sort of normal life for the kids who were able to find joy and happiness again through the sport of Volleyball!
