The CEV School Project in Slovenia now gathers no less than 110 schools, whilst additional 19 schools are cooperating with five volleyball schools, all managed and run by Slovenian clubs.

The Volleyball Federation of Slovenia (OZS) and Slovenian Volleyball clubs have been very successful at implementing the CEV School Project to an additional 18 elementary schools ahead of the 2021-2022 school year. For the first time since the start of the project in 2018, Volleyball activities will be taking place in three schools for children with special education needs as well.

Coaches and teachers who attended free online lessons through the Webinar Series run by the CEV Technical and Development Department are now successfully using their knowledge to work with children, whilst the equipment - Mikasa balls, nets, and net bands provided by the CEV - is making their efforts a lot easier. Activities are resulting in full school gyms and many smiles.

Slovenia’s youngsters can look forward to even more action in 2022. On January 9, Šempeter will host a volleyball festival for the first time after the coronavirus outbreak in early 2020 and 2 much-anticipated Beach Volleyball festivals will follow in June and September in conjunction with the CEV School Project too.
