CEV School Project activities experience exponential growth
News
As many as 61,475 children, coaches, teachers, and other staff joined activities run in conjunction with the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’ throughout the 2022/2023 school year. This figure accounts for a terrific 56% increase year on year.

The numbers stem from the annual survey reports provided by each National Federation involved in the project to get a clear snapshot of their qualitative and quantitative standing in the CEV School Project activities. Each National Federation is provided with an annual evaluation feedback from the CEV Development Department to make adjustments (if any) and set goals for the school year that lies ahead.
Each category has increased, most notably the number of children involved (58,386, +62%) and project community support (16,203, +503%). This last figure is especially important since it shows the positive impact the CEV School Project has beyond getting more kids to play the game.
Anyway, any such snapshot is not just about numbers, but also about fostering and sustaining a positive impact in the school project communities across Europe. There is a lot more to look forward to for kids, coaches, PE teachers and support staff across the many countries that have already embraced the CEV School Project with much enthusiasm!
