CEV initiates bidding process for Champions League Finals

Only a couple of weeks after the 2025 edition of the CEV Champions League Volley reached its climax with two spectacular and highly successful Final Four events held in Istanbul and Łódź, the CEV has launched the bidding process for the season finale in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

A detailed and comprehensive guideline has been put together to share and outline useful background information together with all requirements and deadlines for submitting a proposal to host such a majestic Volleyball party! The CEV encourages all interested National Federations and clubs to review the information provided and to devise – in close cooperation with city and national authorities – their plans to turn such an exceptional opportunity into reality! This is your chance to deliver an event that will go down in history and elevate the sport to unprecedented heights! 

In a remarkable development for European Volleyball, it is the first time this process is initiated so far in advance. The main aim is to secure iconic host cities as early as possible in order to build a compelling storyline throughout the coming season.

The registration for participation in the CEV European Cups 2026 is currently underway and the Drawing of Lots for all stages of the three continental competitions is scheduled for July 15.
